Two miles south-east of Gatcombe Church is the village of Rookley.
Highwood Lane is the road which links the two communities and just before
Rookley itself is reached, the Pavilion is situated on the left hand side.
Set on the edge of a pretty five and a half acre field area, the recently
built pavilion/village hall boasts superb facilities.
The veranda overlooks the cricket wicket and surrounding countryside.
Inside, the airy spacious hall can cater for up to 75 people.
The en suite changing rooms at either end of the building provide cloakroom
facilities, and there is a fully accessible toilet for wheelchair users.
There is full disabled access to the building from outside. Nearby car
parking is also provided.
The light modern kitchen is equipped with a microwave, cooker, fridge,
dishwasher and an instant hot water heater for drinks.
The building is entirely suitable for outside caterers to use to provide for
a wedding reception.
