Winchester House, Shanklin

A beautiful late 19th century house set on the cliff top in Shanklin licensed for civil marriage ceremonies in our stunning private chapel. We provide excellent catering and overnight accommodation for 2 to 146 people in a mixed format of single/twin rooms and dormitories, and have a choice of rooms available for entertaining:

We specialise in helping you to make your wedding day special yet affordable. Our expertise is in providing excellent catering, an atmospheric venue, overnight accommodation if required and, most importantly, a warm welcome. We will not force you into a fixed all-in-one package. We are happy to put you in touch with other businesses who provide additional wedding items such as marquees, flowers, hog roast, etc. It is your wedding so we think you should be able to choose what you want to have there. We can also provide suitably qualified staff to help entertain children – we even have a bouncy castle!
